Palomino Medical is a family medical centre that provides GP services to enrolled patients in Auckland. Our traditional practice model ensures that you receive continuity of care, supported by a team that is familiar with your medical background and health needs.

We continue to provide our existing patients quality care, as well as welcoming new patients and their families to register with our experienced GP.

For your convenience, we reserve a few daily appointments for our enrolled patients during the practice’s operating hours to meet our patients’ health needs.

Consultations by appointment only

Consultations are by appointment only, we do not accept walk-in patients. This allows us to run on time and to keep waiting times to a minimum as much as possible

Dr Jason Hasan

MB,ChB; FRNZCGP

Dr Jason Hasan is a well-rounded general practitioner, who takes pride in caring for patients and their families. As a true family doctor at heart, he enjoys the long-term professional relationships that he has developed with his patients and their families over the years at Palomino Medical Centre.

After graduating from medical school, Dr Hasan worked as a House Surgeon and a Registrar for many years in the hospital system gaining valuable experience before deciding to pursue a career in General Practice. He has been a GP for many years, obtaining a Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2009, and a Diploma in Community Emergency Medicine from the University of Auckland in 2011. Over the years he has attended multiple courses and workshops and keeps up to date by interacting with colleagues and reading medical literature.

Initially Dr Hasan worked as a locum GP for a few years and eventually started working at Palomino Medical in 2011 where he is the principal GP/ owner and has been there since then.

Dr Hasan has a passion for medical education, for many years he was involved in teaching medical students from the University of Auckland at Palomino Medical Centre. Furthermore, he was a Medical Educator with the RNZCGP supporting GP registrars in their training.

In his spare time Dr Hasan enjoys listening to and playing a variety of musical instruments, IT and travel.
